Dedicated 20', 40', and 40'HC containers from Hong Kong to every major global port. Faster than LCL, more secure, and more cost-effective for shipments over 15 CBM.
FCL — Full Container Load — means the entire container is booked exclusively for your shipment. It is loaded at origin, sealed, and not opened until it arrives at destination. No other shipper's cargo is mixed in.
This makes FCL faster than LCL (no CFS consolidation delays), more secure, and more cost-effective per CBM once your shipment exceeds 12–15 CBM. AGLog Cargo books FCL containers on all major shipping lines operating from Hong Kong and South China ports, with weekly sailings to every major global trade lane.

FCL (Full Container Load) means you book an entire container exclusively for your cargo. It is loaded at origin, sealed, and not opened until destination. FCL is more cost-effective than LCL for shipments over 15 CBM, provides faster transit with no CFS handling, and is more secure as no other cargo is loaded with yours.
Standard options from Hong Kong: 20' standard (~25–28 CBM, 28T max), 40' standard (~55–58 CBM, 26T max), 40' High Cube (~60–68 CBM, 26T max, extra height). Specialised: flat rack (OOG), open top (tall cargo), reefer (temperature-controlled), ISO tank (liquids). We can quote any equipment type from HK and South China ports.
FCL is faster than LCL as there is no CFS consolidation delay. Vessel transit: USA West Coast 14–17 days, USA East Coast via Panama 25–30 days, Europe 25–30 days, Australia 12–16 days, Middle East 12–16 days. Door-to-door adds pickup at origin and inland delivery at destination, typically 3–5 extra days each end.
FCL becomes competitive with LCL at around 12–15 CBM for a 20' container. Above 15 CBM, a 20' FCL almost always costs less per CBM than LCL and delivers faster. Above 28 CBM, a 40' is the most economical. Ask AGLog Cargo to quote both if your shipment is borderline — the difference can be significant.
Yes — FCL is often preferred for hazardous goods (DG) as you have a dedicated container with no segregation concerns. IMDG compliance is still required: correct classification, packing, marking, labelling, and DG Declaration. AGLog Cargo handles DG FCL shipments from HK regularly.
No — you can book an FCL container and only fill part of it. You still pay the full container rate, but this sometimes makes sense for cargo that is fragile, high-value, or where contamination from other shippers' goods is a concern. You may also want FCL for confidentiality reasons (no co-loading).
